I like the angle here and the hidden aspects that lies within the model. The black in the back should have been some shades of sea in my book. Other than that i liked it as a simple portrait.

I probably could get more sharpness, but this picture was taken when I first got my camera so I wasn't as versed. I never even noticed the skirt being so white until you said something! I dont have a tri pod so everything is handheld haha.

Nice pose and perspective, Derek. Agree with Kes on the blowout only because the rest of the image is darker toned....sometimes the blowouts can work :0).

Wonderful.
SCORE DEREK!!!
Image is now seared in my mind...I'll be back later with a nonsensical comment of 200 characters (wait, almost there!) to build up my "karma". lol. ok, almost there...
Done.
ok, ok.
Nice pose and toes.
Seems like you could get a little more sharpness with that camera (cost a lot, right?). Was this handheld?
I like the catchlights...and the diagonal of dark and light, and how it splits her, with her light hair on the darkside and her dark shirt on the lightside. Some software programs allow you to dodge/burn (heh), ya might try toning down that white-white skirt area on the left. I'm always to lazy to do that kind of stuff, lol.
Oh yeah, and she's pretty! Friend!?!
