Wow, I go away for a few weeks and you have put up all these great shots to comment on... I think if I actually manage to do that my karma level would jump by a few thosuand points! I can see the benefit of a longer lens, I have a few areas where it is virtually impossible to get close ups of the birds I am capturing, you have a remarkable image here and I am looking for the fishing lines that are holding him up! great capture!

this certainly is a fantastic wildlife shot. Great natural colors and so is the DOF. One of the best in flight pictures of a bird I have seen here.
Impressive and inspiring work.
Deserves a price.

Hi Darlene,

Just fantastic clarity! and a beautiful pose by the bird :)

You and Marcus Armani. should get together and publish a book. You both shoot birds as well or better than any I have seen in any wildlife publications.

Extraordinary, the best I've ever seen. You're the master, undoubtedly. The detail is so refined, the moment of capture so creative as it shows a seldom seen view of his wings, and the overall image is absolutely exquisite... I'm REALLY impressed with your work now... You deserve an award for this one! ...Gab

You're putting a fine camera and lens to good, skilled use here! Of course it is the photographer who makes the image, not the equipment, but having the right stuff can sure enable a competent photographer to realize his/her potential. Great capture, sharp as a tack- beautiful shot! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Fly Like an Eagle(oops I Mean Pelican)! Wow Darlene, another super fantastic shot. If you ever put a calander together, I will be the first to buy one. My fiance is Very much into the Sea stuff and Our house is Decorated with everything you can think of.
I would Really Appreciate it if I could have this made into a Picture and frame it on the wall for her Birthday.
Please let me know if that is at all possible.
Thank you very much for sharing!

Best Regards
