           | Beautifully composed and exposed shot. I lived for a short time in nearby Elphin so know this landscape well. This looks like one of the more benign days, but I'll bet the midges took their toll! Regards, Gary

           | An awesome scenery, lighting is superb. The things you could not change afterwards (composition, choice of camera position and perspective) are perfect, fortunately. As proposed, a bit more punch for the sky is debatable, albeit not mandatory IMO. What I would definitively consider is a fix for the barrel distortion (the kitlens has one at the wide end), in this case. Sometimes a barrel distortion adds nicely to the feeling of vastness, but here it is a bit distracting. I played a bit and fixed the barrel distortion, made a multiply blended layer mask for the sky (you dont need a $$$ NIK filter) and rotated a tad counterclockwise. What do you think ?

           | Thanks PAT for your comments. I have just started out in the world of photography and I welcome all help and advice.
Unfortunately I do not have any filters other than a circ. polariser. I even have to borrow a tripod or as in the case of this shot, take it hand held. I am in the process of getting around to purchasing ND Grad filters and a tripod although due to a pending wedding (4th June) that has to take a back seat for the mo.

Your modified shot looks good. Thanks once again,
 Thomas.

           | A really great composition. In retrospect a Graduated ND flter would have been usefull in this shot. Or even a circular polorizer.
I added NIK color Efex pro's Grad. ND filter. What do you think?
