I am going tomarrow to get a nikon d70 and hope I can get him to help me out with it also while visiting.

Nice job, Brandy. I agree somewhat with Angelo's tip on exposure. My tip would be to use your camera's center-weighted or spot metering on this type shot and meter on the brightest white area. This would underexpose the rest of the scene but that could be adjusted in software.

Thanks for your comment on my caterpillar photo, Brandy. My kids will stop to look at every ant they see... :)
Nice photo of these pretty white flowers. You have selected a nice bunch with a "flowing" look to it.
If I may suggest a couple of things...
You may consider cropping the image by taking away that empty space on the left. I think it would improve the impact.
The other suggetion is more of a tip: some of the white flowers have been overesposed and came out pure white without any detail. I don't know if your camera has a histogram display, but if it does you should use it and ensure there are no peaks at the extreme right of the histogram. With digital cameras, I am told, it is best to underexpose slightly than to get overexposure.
Hope that was clear.
Regards.
