About It has been interesting anecdote about this photo:

Photo is made last week and I was returning to same scene several hours after to make the night version.
While I was taking this night one, I was attacked by one pit-bull. Luckily, I was having my tripod, so I used it as my weapon of defense. Owners of the dog came 30 seconds later, but without my tripod maybe it will be too late for me. In this way, I finished pretty lucky, just with one sleeve torn by this wild dog.

My proposition for everyone: Buy a good tripod, u can never know how usefull it can be! :-)))

Simple and perfect. Love the right lower corner. It's the detail of confusion that I like on it.

You definately know how to make your camera work for you. The water is so still. Good cropping.
Many objects are used for things never intended by the maker. I'm glad you tripod could successfully come to your rescue.

If it weren't for the red trim, that boat would just disappear like camoflauge into the reflection of the beautiful bricks. Lovely capture, well composed~

Attacked by a dog for no reason? Scary...!

You have once again taken a really nice shot! The photo is very well composed and the reflection in the water perfectly catched. The presence of the little boat in the right part of the picture adds something extra in the picture.

Thank you for your recommendation about the tripod! I don't have any tripod yet, but after having read about your adventure I realise that I probably should buy a tripod as soon as possible... ;-)

Thank u Neil very much for your comment on my picture. Unfortunately I don't choose the order of the photos and new ones are coming so quickly that's very difficult to find on this list even own photos. But your image is not bad at all. Wait, I'll put you now some comment on it...

It's not fair that my image is next to yours in the "Photo Critique". Yours is so much better!

What a wonderfully unique but successful composition combined with the beautiful colours and careful control of focus. I think this is wonderful compensation for your incident with the dog.

the reflections and colour composition makes a pretty strong composition...I like it...almost an abstract landscape

Cheers,

This is fabulous - the thumbnail doesn't do it justice and I almost passed it over. Glad I didn't!

PS. I'll sharpen my tripod before my next photo session...
