yeah, i did use a automatic camera, it's just mostly for snapshots and stupid pictures but this one would of been to risky to use my SLR bueause the secruity guards come really fast and with my small/automatic camera i can just slip it into my pocket, otherwise i would of had to ride my bike away really fast with a SLR in one hand. i can't set the shutter, so i focused and hoped for the best. as far as i knew it was in focus when i took it,but i cant explain the blurry part of it.
Intentional lack of focus? If so, perhaps the bars should have been also. Although I like the way the bars mirror the windows of the building behind. I find the cars distracting, and would prefer more colour (or pure B/W). Great potential in this location though, I think... AJ
I take a lot of skating photos and you need to be careful with automatic cameras, which i think u might have used. You always want to focus on the place the person will be before hand and make sure u have the correct shutter speed, unless you want that blurred effect, but in this picture nothing is in focus, good angle and everything though.
