Thank you for your comments. I do not agree with you as feel that the shadows make the main object, the trolley, stand out better. I'd prefer to having some shadows, as opposed to having the whole oject in bright sunlight; this was taken about 5:00 pm, the best light of the day.
I did do some manipulation with Photo Impact 7, with some small cropping, pixel re-sizing, and using the unsharp mask, to add a small touch of sharpness. The actual slide it's self is very sharp, but lost some quality when scanned and put in Jpeg.
while I like the perspective and color clarity, I'm not so sure abou the strong shadows here. they are very prominent in this picture, and I think they draw some attention from the subject itself. small side note: the image is very sharp. did you work in Photoshop with unsharp maskening?
