Second I don,t know if Your thought I imported the sky in this photo or not?
The truth is I only changed the contrast and saturated the colors slightly, otherwise this is exactly as it was taken.The only editing software I have is the software that came with My printer.
There is minmal editing and Yes I agree with You about totally changing the original photo but It is fun to experiment sometimes!

Great stuff John.
I don't really agree with importing skies etc, I am still a film man at heart although I only use digital now. Members of our club use Photoshop to it's maximum. I don't think it's photography anymore if everything is manipulated but I am just a "grumpy old man".

I did adjust the brightness and contrast a littl and saturated the colors a bit but besides that this is the sky I saw! Thanks for asking!

Your "Shining through 2" is anothr example of yopur dextrity in that area. The colors are great, the reflections beautiful and the composition leads the eye into the horizon.

Well done John, very dramatic and beautifully saturated colors. Impressing how you capture the dynamic range of the light in this one. But what is the blue streak in the upper left corner? It looks artificial and seems distracting to me!
