- The "Espigueiro" of the photo is a very old (XVII century) and typical construction of Trás-os-Montes (a remote region of Portugal) and represents the traditions and the legacy of the local people.
- The boy represents all the young people that wants to leave this hard life in Trás-os-Montes, and wants to go to the big cities of the cost, where they can find better opportunities in life.
This is a very powerful shot, as it looks as if the man is reaching for god. The color of the sky represents what kind of life their living. Also the DOF is just perfect with awesome details. Keep up the good work.
