Hi Anne,
This one had more exposure that the other one. thats for sure, It has alook like is later in the day. Also there is more of the pond and the piece of wood on the water make for a nice touch. We could only wish for a frog to get on it. ha ha ha

This is so lovely and tranquil, the soft flowing water and the darker shaded greens. A secret spot. I love the heavy wet textured log. Perfect.

Yes, the 128mb SmartMedia card does work in the camera--I just bought one a few weeks ago and it is great!
I have also had some trouble finding the batteries in local stores, so have ordered them online. I just bought two more from Quality Digital Camera (www.qualitydigitalcamera.com)they are very fast and the batteries are working great. You can see the battery at http://www.qualitydigital.shoppingcartsplus.com/catalog/item/253477/483388.htm
The batteries only cost half as much as the other places I looked for them. I don't know if they ship internationally, but give it a try! They have great service and shipped very quickly.

I see from your photos that you use a finepix 4900.
I of recent have acquired some on Ebay but I have problems in order to find the batteries in Italy. You have the same problem?
can you tell me if I can use the smartmedia of 128Mb?

My vote is definitely for #1 - that glow made it for me. Not that this one is also good - but the first one centres all the attention on the "glow flow" and for me ... well ... it's such a great image :-)
