DRYDOCK AT ROCKPORT, MASS. .... MANY TIMES THESE FISHING BOATS LET MAINTENANCE TAKE A BACK SEAT .. AND ONLY AFTER IT SEEMS THAT THE HULL IS FALLING APART.. WILL IT SEE IT'S WAY UP THE RAILS OF DRYDOCK. HOPE THIS ONE IS NOT TO FAR GONE.
I bet at one time this was a beautiful fishing vessel...and it is hard to believe that a person who allowed this to happen...would take the time or money to restore it...my guess would be...off to the back forty, after being stripped of anything useful...a shame. Good capture Bil...Gloria
Nice image, although I could do without the green plastic tubs (not your fault, obviously)! The lighting is good (subdued overcast lighting). I would love to see this in a dawn or dusk shot, for the richer colors. Alternately, I wonder what this would look like with some filter work done in PS. Matt
