Indeed... the bench is as seen... produced by a local company... each one that is places here and there tend to be differing colours... each with a different quote... to force the sitter... to think... and smile... especially if there has been a pigeon there before... leaving a souvenir ciao

Was the bench actually that yellow or is that PS? The effect of it is amazing. - contrasted against the desaturated background. I really love the angle as well. Also the quote - was that on there already as grafitti or also a post-op addition?

By the way, thank you for all your kind comments on my photos.

This is really nice, a lot of ornate background detail which is in direct contrast to the eye-popping yellow modern bench. Great composition.

A bench is a bench is a bench.... UNLESS it is perched in front of a dark and aging stone building, painted with the energy of the sun, and exists of curves and lines that have an exaggerated sense of perspective, and is such a strong focal point of the composition that it demands a closer look. This is striking and so well done as to earn the title "art" . Excellent!

My friend, a great distance divides to us but Internet joins to us!! This your park bench serves in order to exchange two words, asks our impressions and if your job is from improving something in this! I find it perfect, the detail I am fantastic, with the just lights and shadows!! The background wise vanished and with tonality superbe!!Una great composition! I do not find nothing of mistaken!! Mine compliments In transit!! Maria Grazia

on the bench is not enough space for all your UF friends, but I feel invited for a good talk...

that is perhaps a good place to enjoy the dessert after cheese and wine, do you like Ricciarelli from Siena?

Cheers,
Verena

there's nothing to improve on this one (except for tiny bits of red in the background that you might have missed during desaturation?). great moody shot, excellent perspective, very good composition. cheers, paula

To NP: it seems that Young Ladies always want more... a lower angle... how about a higher one... but no such luck for instant gratification... but will have a look see, meanwhile some reading:

Not much room for improvement on this one. Old v New, Light v Dark, Smooth v Textured, Colour v Black, Preserved v Dilapidated. Works on so many levels. Excellent.

No need to talk about how to improve this image. I think it's very well done. I like the contrast of the yellow against the dark backgrounsb K

Well, we can sit and talk about....
how to improve mine.
I see nothing to be improved here, In Transit. In fact, I see a perfect, dark background that sets the mood for this shameless yelow bench.
Wish I could read the words on it.

i like very much this eye-catching photo and the yellow colour is extremely tempting, but at the same time i'm hesitant to go and sit there...

I love the title and the simple idea of this photo. I would have lighten it up a bit and maybe tried it in b&w coz I don't like the yellow. But never mind it's a very original photo!! well done! regards annie
