I like the use of the IR effect in this shot, but the fact that it looks like the leaning tower of Pisa is very distracting from what would otherwise be a nice shot. My photos don't always turn out with a good horizontal either, but thank god for Photoshop. :-)

There's something complete and wholesome about this shot, the infrared result works well for this composition.
I feel this would be even nicer if you will consider giving a slight correction to the perspective on the right (straighten the flag pole) which will also center the whole image. Adding the contrast will give you the 'pop'.
