Your forehead is a little hot, but otherwise I think you've got great lighting with just enough shadow detail and I do see a hint of catchlights in your eyes, so you are on the right track!

Very nice this photo. I like the way you got to separate
background from your shirt.
Sometimes when my model has a black shirt it gets mixed
with the black background.
That's what I have been trying in studio with color film.
I'll get there...
I have seen your black n white and they are just great.
