Michelle, this is lovely. I usually prefer color over B&W unless it's exceptionally well done, and THIS is one of those instances. Nice contrast, nice sharpness, nice flow, nice composition. Thanks for posting this trilogy.

Thank you Ivan, John and Anne for your thoughtful comments on my flower shots.
Anne, I didn't use filters with this flower shot. I do often use filters when shooting black and white, however, with this flower I found the white petals, dark green leaves and the shadows caused by side lighting offered enough contrast.
