Nice candid, Michele. I like the picture ... one minor thing.... the color balance might be just a tad bit off and could be adjusted in post processing.
Many years ago I attended several ceremonies while living in Wisconsin and found the people I met their very helpful in explaining the meaning of what was going on. They had fantastic dancing of all kinds with young and old alike competing in different categories by age and dance type.

It's a very good portrait Michele, I have seen indians at my place too...it's a music ""company"" of 3 real indians they are now at Europe and playing there songs at the street...they sells there CDs (that of course I already have) however I was very unlucky not to have my camera with me! :-(

Hey my dearest Srna ... Yes YOU would really enjoy a Pow Wow! I just know it ..This was a special aniversary one but yearly each tribe has their own in their own town in August outside and it last 3 days with their Teepees (sp?)) and many things , like jewelry , ect. to buy and trade...It's a lot of fun ...
