Thanks for the critique. I was at the limit of the digital's macro focus. I just recently purchased a set of close-up filter elelments that I am eager to try out.

I'll definitely check out your brothers images.

Hi Kevin... I have a tough time with macros myself, but would like to suggest if you could isolate one of the flower blooms and make it the main focus of the photo you might be pleased with the results. For nice macro work, you should check out my brother's stuff...his name is Danny Provost. He chases bugs, frogs, dragonflies and various other insects around his wifes flower garden regularly!! Keep shooting!!
