Mentre sto guardando questa foto, il sentimento che mi viene subito in mente è quella di malinconia. Ma una malinconia bellissima e profonda. Sempre il mare mi fa sentire abbastanza malinconico, ma la tua foto riesce a sintetizzare questa emozione in un'immagine sola.

Un posto d'osservazione è costruito per sorvegliare, per salvaguardare. Il bagnino riconosce i pericoli del mare; deve essere preparato ad affrontare questi pericoli. È una professione altruista. Ma allo stesso tempo, una professione che permette molto tempo per l'introspezione. Così, quando il turno del bagnino è finito e lui ritorna a casa, lascia dietro di sé una traccia di malinconia, una traccia dei suoi sentimenti più intimi.
