These people are brushing their teeth with neem twigs early in the morning by the river Ganges.Neem twigs are used by lot of people in India and is believed to be a very old ayurvedic way of keeping one's teeth and gum healthy.
this is a great one, as many of yours... People here in turkey also use these twigs, it's called misvak. If it is the same tree, it tastes like mint, am I right? I think they do that in many countries with muslim populations, using these twigs for toothbrushing is thought to be "sünnet"/"sunneh" by some believing muslims, which means the prophet was doing this, so it is like taking his example. WOW!!! People doing the same thing and seating at the same way and all in a line, in perspective...it is not something you can see every day and surely it is a great portrait all the times, amazing, don't know if you could however it surely be interesting to see more of them in a longer perspective and from a more to your right point of view but that is a taste of mine, the photo is already amazing dear Atish and really diserve my respect, really that type of photos missing a lot today and I love that.... a dream to have that type of portrait too....but antil now that remains a dream...
