yeah she looks like she could be fiery from here but still excellent portrait and I like the skewed horizon too BTW

thanks Roger- not really planned but inside the model I guess- the jostling lake did help!

ooops- that should say the 'diagonal' of the seafront!

yeah- that's fair enough- don't alwys mind myself but I know the photo rule ;) I think in this case it hs a certain symmetry with the digital of the metal seafront going the opposite way.

It is a captured moment right after a pose- sort of a look up moment- I like the looks between the 'looks' if you know what you mean - thanks for the in depth response- i really appreciate that!

Hmmmm... this is a pretty cliched way to start, but I feel I need to say it - the horizon is skew. :) In my experience, either a horizon should be very skew (such that it looks intentional), or it should be straight. Else it detracts. But maybe thats just me.

I love the colour gradient. Definitely works well with this image.

The noise in the sky would normally bother me, but given the mood of the image, I think it adds rather than detracts. In fact, I wonder how this would look if you actually added even more noise, and not just to the sky? Perhaps even go for a 'damaged photo' look? Just a thought.

The composition (besides the skew horizon) is spot-on.

Tamara's expression in her body and face is intriguing and has me wondering whats going on in the scene... was it posed, or not? Is she angry, or mid-expression? questions... questions... And thats definitely a good thing in an image - it jogs ones curiousity.

For all my nits, I really do love this picture a lot! Great work.
