It's a great composition but I agree with the others about exposure. Also hard in the digital world. My personal preference would be for the face not to be in shadow but that's just one of my things....... : )

Composition excellent.
Does look a bit underexposed (but then again, correcting the dark plumage might blow out the head).

Majestic..like something out of Nat.Geo! Overall could have been a bit more sharp(?). The shadows thrown by the overhead sun i think ad to the image...makes you feel the heat...and wonder why he doesnt find some shade!!
