About	A homeless couple on Daytona Beach, sharing a six-pack on a February afternoon. The woman was bruised and missing teeth. She seemed out of touch. The man said he was going to hitchhike to Orlando where he hoped to find work. Very young, very sad.

They were quite happy, and they had reson to be. I had just given them five dollars for food. The sad thing was their condition. Their speach was slurred; their eyes glazed. As I said above, the woman was near delusional and quite incoherent. Yet they were obviously still in their twenties. I found it so sad that I cried on the way back to my hotel. Here's another pic that shows them even happier.

without your description they seem quite happy! did you get any other shots of them? it's quite a nice shot but doesn't convey to me any sadness! just a thought
