What impresses me most about this shot, is the angle. I'm not getting an upward perspective, but rather, a downward one as though I'm standing on it. Wonderful illusion (even if it's only my head!)

Also wanted to swing by and say thanks for the great comment on "light". Never thought of coloured paper. Was thinking about buying some gels, but paper's probably going to be cheaper I reckon  Great tip!

I love it! The exteme tilt does let you concentrate on the lines and textures you wanted.
Makes an interesting image outa boring building!
Two Goldwasser images in such a short time!

Baltimore! No wonder I haven't seen you in such a long time. 'Course with my new job I seem to be in town only about 30% of the time and my posting rate has gone to near zero. Nicely balanced lighting on this one!

Hey MS, no, this was a commute... Finished the project... Or at least got it to a point where I can do the rest from home... Got home on the 14th and am looking forward to NOT going anywhere for a while. :-)

One of the best fireworks shots I've seen...good control of light for both the fireworks and the city lights. Love it.
