Hey James - this photograph was taken during the May holiday in China, so yes the crowds were a little much! But even at this time, once you were inside the Stone Forest it was big enough that you didn't see too many other people. It's a fairly interesting spot, I have a few more pictures which I will definitely put up once I get back to Canada!

I think I do like that better, Sally. The less negative space creates a somewhat busier, livelier scene. Thanks for all the comments!! I don't know how to crop pictures on my computer - everything is in Chinese!

Interesting image. Great depth-of-field, and the grainy effect adds to the dramatic mood. Perhaps a tighter crop along the bottom and left edge would add more than take away, but all in all it's a great portrait.

Thanks Robert! My digital is a Nikon D70, and in many respects heavier weight than my film SLR but it is more convenient not having to lug around so much film everywhere I go haha. I felt really silly not having backed up my work :S but the USB storage device only held about 40 photographs!
Any other comments would be appreciated
