Don't be a teacher. You should keep taking photos like this one. I've been an English teacher for four years in Turkey, and it kills me...

Great job using the color inverse tool. I think I would have liked this image a bit more if all of the balls were colored and not a select few.

From the thumbnail, it almost looked like the Smartie was being used as a ring. However, after seeing the larger image, it really does highlight the candy, almost like a gem.

Great tulip Callandra, try, perhaps, a tighter crop to eliminate the object in the top right corner.
Good job! Keep the effort!

ey! Sweet Call! now you posted that here... I like this image in case i forgot to tell you yesterday... and the technique you used is I think the same technique I have been using! Experimenting... that's what it is. For me it doesn't matter if im using the right technique or not as long as my image look perfectly as how I want it to be. And as long as it's clean, and as long as you got all the details in place. But of course following the right procedure can bring your image to its best.
So keep on experimenting, that's how you are able to show your feelings thru your images... with your own "pesonal touch". Isn't it great when you see something you made and you know it came deeply from your heart? Well I guess Ive shared much of my own ideas and experience here, im no teacher, not even an expert, just someone who understand the meaning of true photography.
ciao, athrio
