great capture of this egret, plenty of details in the feather, there are a few hotspots but it is hard not to get these when shooting a white bird like this

Awesome capture Christine,
About 4 years ago I spent 2 nights in Sequoia National Park and we saw 10 bears.
That was unbeliebable. Unfortunately at that time I was not interested in photography.

Thank you, Jan. I watched him try to catch a salmon and miss, this one he found dead in the water, but it made a good meal for him anyway, I'm sure.

thanks for the comment, Tomas. I was disappointed with many of my pictures on this trip, since I had just got the camera (it was backordered for such a long time...) and didn't have a lot of time to learn how to use it before I left. Focus is an issue, but I liked the composition on this one.... but yes, I need to work on the basics a bit more.
