Thanks for the comments Christine! Looks like I've got a fellow Nikonian shooting birds! Yes, you definitely need to stalk these egrets, you get close and they just fly away. Very good capture, keeping the details!

I hope I am doing this right, but I can't see any other way you could have captured these flowers any more perfectly unless you handed me one to hold and breathe in its wonderful aroma!!!

Thank you, Jan... black animals can be a challange, and the kittens are hard to get to sit still. We had over 140 kittens up for adoption this past summer. Pretty impressive considering we have no paid staff or facility-- all are housed in peoples' homes.
And I did notice the critters in your portfolio... it's what first drew me to your work!!
