I like the colours and the banding of the image into three separate textures. I just find those aerials(?) sticking up on the left a little distracting.

Well . . . Yep! He's black . . . he's a dog . . . and he's on the beach! Guess I figured out the title! :)
You know you really did get some good exposure for this one . . . the dark has detail and the white's not burned out. Terrific exposure range and a great looking dog too. I love the frozen detail in the water splash.

Thanks, Tim! You know SF - sunny, foggy-- it's a coin toss! I especially love summer, when it's nice and warm and then the fog rolls in, catching the tourists in t-shirts and shorts off guard;)) (well, that has actually happened to me these past few years, I live in the East Bay now, and forget to bring a jacket sometimes....)

Thanks, Doyle... Chip was one of our rescue fosters, and he found a great home with a loving family. He had a habit of looking over the gate when the small dogs came out to play on the patio-- I couldn't resist taking this shot.

Thanks, Michele-- yep, his owner said that he's half lab-- another great rescue dog from a local shelter. A very friendly guy who was having a great time running through the water.
