Hi Nigel This Palace was repainted and open to the public two days before I took this photograph,I used a circular polarizer for the sky, and the dark area, I agree with you, is a huge rare tree imported by sir Francis Cook for the existing Public Gardens around the Palace which are full of exotic plants and an exuberant greenery! Best regards luquesio

A lot of potential with the low angle and the red and blues contrasting well. However the dark area on the right is rather distracting and I feel the colours are rather to saturated and therby unatural

Well composed image! Good contrast between the empty white wall on the left and the busy balconyscape on the right. And nice little rewards for those who look for details. The lonely piece of underwear hanging on the clothesline is worth a fado.

...and on the left side of the picture we have the writing on the wall. Morte aos xxxxxx? The target of the threat is difficult to read.
Great shot to show there's a dark side to everything!

Dear Luquesio,
very good BW capture, like the contrast and the format here a lot. the silhouetted person makes this image. although the highlights are a bit blown out in the middle, I really like this one.
