Stephie thinks its cool because the support for the wing frames the mountain. And the reflection's awesome.

I think it detracts, but I can't see how you can crop it out without losing the best parts of the mountain.

$64 000 dollar question? I think you should leave the wing in since you had the option when you took the shot and surely with a view like this you took a lot more shots, I know I would have.

The wing really doesn't do it for me; perhaps if you had somehow shot the reflection from an angle closer to being perpendicular to the wing and incorporated it as a weightier element in the composition? *shrug*
The shadows on the mountain are great, though, and I like the way that the darker tones of the trees meld into the snowier surface higher up in the frame. In fact, I really like the tonal composition of the mountain in general. It's just unfortunate that the wing takes up such a large space in the shot, IMHO.

I like the 'roof' it creates in your image, Christine. Besides, not too many folks get to go up in a 182!

I concur. And even though Jake is the only corgi I know, he's very sweet. And the picture seems to capture him as well--almost like you froze him in time. :-)

I really like this pic, but I think you should crop a centimeter off the bottom, or until you pass those little spikes. They're distracting.

yes, I wanted it to be clearer too. But this was taken was taken on a dark day, so I had to use a flash and thus I lost some depth of field.
