Thanks Den, They are tricky for sure. It does seem that I have better results with them in the last while than I do with other subjects. I surfed on over to your place and looked at the window you posted. It is a supurb Memorial window and you have done a geat job. Thank you for sharing the great results of your efforts.

Wonderfully clear shot Evan. Very vivid colours. I know how difficult stained glass is to photograph as I recently posted a SG shot myself. My compliments in achieving a terrific result. Den

Thanks Armando They are beginning to be grown here and I am not even sure what we do with them. However, they are cute. In what ways are they used in Peru other than say a beast of burden? My lack of knowledge isshowing here.

Hi Armando, Thanks for your comment on the Saint of musicians. The instrument that is depicted in the window is actually a set of organ pipes. Although she was associated with music before 1585 her place as patroness of music was secured when the conservatory of music in Rome was established in the above year. She has over the years been shown with various instruments but the organ is the most regular one. As far as the zampoña, that the child is wearing is concerned I think, (in my own simplistic way), that the oprgan is just a very complicated version of that instrument

Excellent pic of a beautiful vitral, I had never seen that saint of the musicians, but I have noticed that the instrument that has in its hands is similar to a Peruvian instrument called zampoña, here i attach you a picture of the instrument that I found in GOOGLE.

I agree that it is a bit on the busy side.

I like this effect because it brings out the lines as well as shadows and still keeps the actual shape of things (instead of distorting it). However, I find the back wall a little distracting. It's difficult using this effect because of the lack of dimension. Just an idea. Try to either darken the back wall so it doesn't show as much detail when this effect is put in place OR (don't know if this would work seeing as I've never tried it myself) adjust the contrast in the fore ground just a little bit to bring out some detail in the kids so the back wall doesn't come out too strong. Good work. Sid

Thank you Rick, All the windows on my page are from Anglican churches.
I am glad ou like the window. Use it with many blessings. I am always somewhat humbled when some likes my work enough to use it.
Thank you.
I have saved your image as well and will be dropping in from time to time.

Another great window shot, Evan! Kind regards, Chris P.S. I once did an exchange with a pastor from Toronto and also was the Bible Teacher at some United Brethren teen camps down on Lake Erie, not far from Dunville. The friend who came with my from the U.K also did some work in London!
