Hi Gian, The The cast bronze maps are spread through out the city for the benifit of the tourists. I put the coffee cup on the map. The result is the image. No cutting or pasting on this one Thanks for dropping in. Evan

The poppy is representative of what grew in Flanders Fields... a woman who worked to care for the allied soldiers in Paris, took scraps of red bunting to create the first 'poppies' that she sold with the proceeds going to the soldiers who had nothing to look forward to. Thus started the practice of Veterans... selling same throughout the Allied West...

Near you in Guelph, is the McCrae Museum, and upon my desk is a scissor that was used to cut the ribbon that marked the opening on his memorial, granted to this viewers Grand-father, who accepted the Japanese Surrender for Canada.
