Hi Rona,
Thank you for the comment & concern. I have been ill, Drs diagnosed me with Meniere's disease.
A condition of the inner ear that causes sudden spinning of the room and accompanied unpleasantries. Hard to focus! LOL
Yer friend Sam
Your work gets better all the time...

D,
Yes we have. Just re-posting some pics that I had taken down.
Good to hear from you, hope all is well. Your husband and son are spitting images of each other. Very handsome and oh so cute.
Good things happen to good people.

Todd,
Why is it that you "left wingers" can make derisive statements, but someone else can't make a rebuttal, without your dove like feathers being ruffled. I guess you really don't have a sense of humor. The photo was clearly labled a rebuttal and I guess I missed your copyright bug.
Far be it from me to use a copyrighted, legitamely photo of a public billboard.
Sam
Not a right winger, just an American with common sense.

It is very definately the eye, very alluring and sensuous. I like color, but the black & white works better. Why not just leave the eye colored?

Dottie,
Looks like the last throws of CPR and maybe not going to work. I do believe this is you? My Dad & Bro are retired Oakland, Ca firemen. Now have 2 nephews carrying on that time honored profession.
Your camera work is very good, great composition and an eye for the sublime.
Thanks,
sam

We live in Arizona, Green Valley. Just below Tucson. My wife was born in Lexington, KY. Grew up in Greenville, SC. Her Dad was Roger Bourland also. He was in insurance business all over South & New York. As for myself, I was born and raised in Oakland, Ca. spent all of my adult life in Contra Costa County. Danville, Alamo, Ca. And yourself?

Thank you Roger for my 20's mansion comments.
I love your route 66 series. I was raised in N Calif and we had these "big oranges" along the hiways, when we traveled. Hiway 50 & 80.
Curious, my brother in law & nephew are named Roger Bourland. My wifes maiden name.
Later,
Sam

Del,
ps they suicided the doors, meaning they made them open to the front instead of standard to the rear.

del,
great capture. It is a 32 ford 3 window coupe, they also made a 5 window coupe and a convertible. This appears to be a Fiberglass reproduction on a custom chassis. It has a chromed dropped front axle to get it lower to the ground. Most of these are now powered by small block chevy or ford engines. This was the first V8 Ford built, flathead, 1 stromberg 97 carb 89 horsepower. 3 speed on the floor.

Nice work almost surreal. If God had wanted us all to see the same thing he wouldn't have given us a brain. Thank you for adding me as a friend, I am honored.
