Looks like beautiful rugged country. Great saturation of some amazing colors. The only thing I see is some noise in upper right corner. But other than that wonderful shot.

Great photo. The lighting looks nice and even. What type of set up were you using? Overall it seemed a little flat to me. I added a layer of contrast in PS2 to make it pop a little more. What do you think?

Well it worked well in this shot. The right side of the tree is a little hot and maybe the larger cloud, but other than that looks great. I really like the gradiant look of the sky.

Amazing DOF the blended greens and yellows really add to the shot. I really like the lighting on the wings too. Nice work

Thats an impressive looking tree! I love the rich black and white tones. Did you use a polarizer?

Brigitte, thank you for your comments. I was thinking it might need some brightening but wasn't 100% sure so thanks for the help.

Some day I hope to capture lightning over the ocean. This is just beautiful. I really like the contrast in the clouds they just pop off the page.

This is an amazing capture! Was this taken from the shore? Looks like a killer fan of water behind him. Is this the original image or was it cropped down? I would love to see the top of that wall of water he created. Thanks for sharing.

Yes this was a very active storm. The houses were actually a lot brighter but i toned them down. I may have over done it but the main focus was the lightning.

Thanks Dave, this was actually 3 verticle shots stitched in CS2. I could have used a 5D, My 20D couldn't quite get all the river in.

We've been having some awesome storms in AZ as well. This is a great shot. Lookings like it made contact with the electrical lines. Love the criss cross and spreading veins.
