Truly capturing a moment in time, one which you always wish you could replay. The only opportunity for improving the image would be to us PS and blur the two individuals behind them, so they "pop" more from the photo.

That looks like an accelerator or supercollider. It is used in Physics research. The one at cern (http://www.phys.au.dk/asacusa/pictures/cern.jpg) gives you another example.
