Something about the light in this, even as a thumbnail, shines with the charm of an old movie. I expected the light to be more diffuse. I guess I mean there is a very nice tonal weight to this.

Very nice and intimate portrait. Man and boy clearly feel very comfortable with each other.
It is lacking a bit in a "connection" between them, though. If they were both looking at a common object, or perhaps at each other, I think there would be a greater feeling of relationship.
