Liike the lighting and the general pose of this shot. The model's expression fits the title to a 'T'. Good work...Matthew

Yes, she was annoyed...but 11 year-olds spend much of their time being annoyed with their parents, so the expression is fitting. And, yes, it would be better if there were more distance between her and the background, but that's impossible in a 12' room.

Sorry but her expression kills this one. The dress and hair are lovely but she looks quite annoyed about getting her portrait taken. Als I think it would be improved if there were more space between her and the background.

This Photograph makes me wish i was standing as i did as a child on the banks of the little miami river fishing with my father as a child on a cool crisp morning during a fall day back when times were simpler and less hurried next to that old spillway in Batavia Ohio where the sound of the water rushing over the spillway lulls you into a sense of calm while waiting for the excitment of that big bass to grab the line.

Rainy glomy days are perfect mood enhancers for landscapes, and using up the last frame of film on such an impressive capture is plain luck.... luck that you had the one frame left to catch such a beautiful moment on film. I am enamored with the softness framed so exquisitely by the sharp focus of the foreground. SOOOOOOO beautiful, so moody, quietly understated, that it draws a wistful sigh from this viewer. I am so glad the one frame was available.
