Yes, it's my favorite as well out of your photos that I've seen. The Bald-faced Hornet close-up runs a close second. It too is a striking image, but lacks the visual punch of this wasp's beautiful yellow color.

Damsels/dragonflies - they make the most beautiful subjects for a skilful photographer. Just wish I could capture them half as well as you've done with this one!

Wooooooooow Mark, this is superb. It's getting better and better with your macro shots.....lol......Never thought there would be space for improvement after I'v seen your work for the first time. Normal people like me would have big problems photographing one of these hoover flies in mid air, but you are even able to capture them in mid air mating!!!! Congrats.
