This is outstanding...

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was going to be a very good shot of a flower. Was very surprised, in a good way, when I saw the mantis.

Impressive composition and the exposure is just right.

I don't understand why you haven't received more comments on this photo. I love the contrast between the building and the sky. Great perspective and angle in this shot. Nice sun reflected in the building's windows. Great job!

nice capture .. just for curiosity did you alter the sky ? horizon is kind of skewed try adjusting it in PS.. otherwise a very well composed shot .. always fun to be there )

Very powerful shot, John! The limited Depth of Field and the high details in the brow do make it an abstract shot, yet still recognisable. Very intense photo, I like it alot! The fact that the eye is composed off center makes it even more attractive. Very good work!

Nice image John. I think I would crop off a little of the left hand side to make a square image. The red area is over powering the blue of the Iris. (IMHO) Regards John
