Very good! Great pattern in the sunset colors. Looks like it may be by the ocean?

Good shot of the statue. Where is it from? It seems unusual to have a moustache on a figure such as this?

That's how you get some good photos. Just take the shot! It's very good! You like your 10D? I'm thinking of getting one.

I think if you could catch this with some different lighting it would be really good. I know it's hard to catch an outdoors scene when the lighting is just perfect.

Too bad you couldn't have gotten a bit more light on the subject to see the tiger a bit better, but there is something to be said for the darkness also. At any rate, a really good capture! He's got a great expression.

That's a really nice toad shot. He's got that "Don't touch me" kind of color. Great photos David! I enjoy seeing shots like yours over the artsy stuff a lot of people do. It looks like you and your family have a lot of fun and that's whats really matters. I agree about maybe a polarizer to cut some glare but can you put one on a Coolpix 4500? Regards!

Stephen, Thanks for the comments on my cat photo. They make such great subjects. Wow! I really need to get to the UK and Europe. You have such great ruins and historical places to photograph. Most of our really good old historical sites is on the other coast about 3000 miles from me but our advantage on the west coast is our mountians and scenic areas.
I can picture this shot in a nice calander. You have done well learning the art. Keep it up and have fun!

Good shot and exposure. The balance between the darks and lights is good. It's hard to catch them in a good pose when they move around so much

Sarah, Thanks for observations and comments on my cat photo. Yes it seems I am having a bit of a scanner problem and then I am having trouble correcting it in the basic photoshop I have. But, I'm learning. I posted some questions about my scanner in the forum and have gotten some good information back. You have posted more good work since I noticed your whale. I love this old mill shot. Keep up the great work and have fun!

Aaaa yes. Excellent machinery! Nice! I have seen many photos of flying condition warbirds but this one I have not seen. Where is it out of? We had the pleasure of having the Blacksheep reunion here at the Museum of flight in Seattle last year. Awesome men! I have 11 days until I leave for the Air Races in Reno. I hope I get something good to post. Regards!
