Creative angle, lovely light, but the tripod spoils it for me. Worth a second session! Kind regards.

The tripod is really intrusive in this moment.
It couldn't have been hand-held, or perhaps rotate the tripod legs 45 degrees to get it out of the shot?

To me, it's analogous to watching a move, and seeing the boom mic above the actor in the shot...it shatters the illusion.

Ho Ozlem, good shot, with a nice combination of subjects mxing with the surroundings. I think the counterclockwise tilt is a bit distracting, though. Nice to see the individual images compared to the series. I think each of them works well as "stand alone", maybe even stronger than combined in the series.

Cheers,

Hugo

Originally it was the graffiti that caught my eye, but only having the wide angle with me I couldn't get close to it, so these images are cropped, I have added the original for you to see...

Ho Ozlem,

Good compositon, and an interesting subject. The defeated pose of the skateboarder adds a very strong story telling element, leaving the details of the story to the viewer's imagination. The line of light, roughly dividing the image into two triangles completes the scene.

I wonder if you'd zoomed in a bit more you could've gotten just a bit more out of the schene, but that's down to adding the finishing touches, and besides a very subjective issue.

Very nice photo.

Cheers,

Hugo

The composition is very well done. The swath of shadow across the image's diagonal is striking. You might be able to get better color saturation by dropping your ap down (larger number). Since the figure was still, that would probably be ok. This is an exciting location. Did you do a series here?

Hi Ozlem,

I like the nice, unforced atmosphere in this photo. It looks so peaceful, careless and relaxed atmosphere, taken directly from their lives. No glamour, pure life as is. That makes the photo very strong.

In a way the holga effects (vignetting, focus and tonal range) play a mixed role. It can be perceived with a mismatch in the atmosphere, but also be seen as a tool to emphasise the feel. Not really sure, it has an "easy going" feel about it I rather like. That also fits with the snapshot like composition. All very subtle.

I really like this shot, Very good photo.

Cheers,

Hugo

I like this kind of enviromental portraits. The foliage to the left and the pots to the right together direct the eye to the gardener. Part of the face and the arm are a bit overexposed, but i guess you can't have it all using such a camera.
