Great shot! It beats the heck out of the official one on the Montezuma Castle National Monument site. (not to mention, it's way better than the ones I took when I was there!)

Nice job. Anyone who hasn't been there has no idea how easy you made it look to get this shot.

wow... I'd be thrilled just to see that! But to capture it so nicely...I'm more jealous than thankful right now!

Very interesting shot! I like the way the dark colors conflict with the typical sunny beach hammock shot.

Very nice. Lots of detail in the face contrasted with the very soft background. Great expression that makes me want to talk to her and find out what she's thinking.

Very cool framing of the bird. Me gusta!

I can't add anything that hasn't been said, just wanted to agree that the crisp white and blue is really appealing.

Wow... first I need to know what variety that is... so I can add it to my garden.

Tricky to get the rich color and still keep the bright white. Maybe this spring you can catch another one with a contrasting background. But still, the deep orange really glows, so I wouldn't mess with it.

Very nice shot, clever way to capture that waiting we've all been through. *Almost* makes me want to go back to the Denver Airport!

I like the grittiness of this image, it goes well with the rough subject.

I love the simplicity of the topic, the coldness of the blues. Very Nice.

He's gorgeous! I love all the subtle colors and markings. How big (or small) is he?

This one is nice. Much more natural expression and not such soft focus as Naomi 4. Without the feet peeping through it would just be another typical portrait pose.

What fun! I like the symetrical pose and asymetric tile pattern.

Thank you both. Alisa, I actually kept the mailbox on purpose thinking it helped show Emma's next destination, but if it's not obvious what it is, then you're right, I should make it less distracting.

Here's the original photo. Any improvement? Was the outcome worth the trouble?

Very nice lines. I would be tempted to mask out that bright spot in the top left quadrant. But still a very appealing shot. (I've been eyeing the fall sumacs out here lately but they haven't quite turned enough)

The complimentary colors alone would make it a beautiful abstract but the identifiable subject makes it even more appealing... flowing water, reflections, fall color...what more could you want?!

I love the way the white fence pops against the background, and the combination of the fence leading away and that triangle of sky make me want to see what else is out there. Lovely shot.
