Rashed - thank you so much! Yes, there's something relaxing about a sunset, and I guess that's one reason why people seem to love them so much. Gayle

Hooray hooray hooray hooray! Hiiiii, ML!
Ummm, hope I'm not being obnoxious in my enthusiasm... ??
Was this originally for the bike challenge? lol Love the blur, the strong lines, and the primary colors. A brave crop, young lady! And a good title, which seems to fit very well.

Thank you so much, Robert! It's sweet of you to do this. I'm so happy when I see familiar names here.
Yes, I will go have some (hopefully)sweet dreams in an hour or two. And I will respond to your email soon, too.
Sleep well! Gayle

Hi, Robert, my wonderful friend!! I'm thrilled that you did this, and it's such a beautiful shot that you brought to us. You make it look so easy! The color and light are gorgeous - wish I had been there!
I hope that you and Martine have a great weekend! Gayle

Hee hee! I've gotten in trouble for doing that too, and I know what you mean about the shutter being soooo loud! That's our guilty consciences speaking...
I'm glad you risked everything to show us this one. Incredible detail, and the colors are so uhhh, colorful? lol My compliments to you, and even more compliments to the artist! Gayle

I have trouble getting good sharpness in close-ups too, Carlen, so I can't help you. Someone who is very good at it told me to hold the shutter down even after you've clicked it, among other things. Like you, I'm getting better, but I've still not mastered it.
Still...nothing wrong with this one, despite the softness. The colors and forms are very nice, and I enjoy looking at it, and that's all I care about.
Take care! Gayle

Wow, congratulations, Rocky! All of these lightning shots are terrific! You're lucky to be living in this beautiful part of the world. Lots of nice elements here, besides the lightning. The silhouette of the mountains, the cactus, the trees in the distance. Well done! Gayle

Oh, I was wanting them to be wild and running in the wilderness! You burst my bubble, Shirley! )) Rather daring elements here - the noise, the tail out of the compo, but it all comes together to produce a nice mood and feeling of movement. Gayle

I've been looking at this one in the "most viewed" category at LPS, and I'm always amazed at how beautiful it is! Surely you enhanced the color! Anyway, it's the kind of photo that I love the most - a lone person walking in the forest, with special light streaming in.
Wish I'd taken it! Gayle ))

Congratulations on your BIP on the other shot, Doyle! It had plenty of comments, so I'm reacting to this one instead. Reminds me of a lollipop, although I know better than to try to eat it! I have seen this done in Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, and it's fascinating to watch. I like your perspective - it's different!
Take care, Gayle

They ARE flying! Great title, and wonderful photo, Marlyce. The pigs who race here at the Arkansas State Fair aren't as talented as these - they only run for the food - no jumping or flying! But you're right. It's so much fun to watch, and you were lucky to get a good vantage point here!

Hello again. Thanks for sharing your parasol with me - those blues are terrific! About the contrast - I'm always afraid I'll overdo it, especially with reds, 'cause it seems like they get noisy or something when I turn up the contrast too much. But, yes, I tend to like contrast and rich colors too.
Ok, I'll get braver about shooting in stores, if you're sure I won't get arrested...
