Ha! Made me laugh - I'm glad you resisted their urge to punt you off the stairs.

Yes, give it a try this winter. Grey skies might be nice with this scene. It's worth a shot anyway! (oops, no pun intended, lol)

Regards,
Gayle

(and thanks for commenting on my unoriginal sunset photo...)

I looked and looked at this trying to figure out what was so appealing about it, besides the subject matter. Decided that I like the subtlety of the colors, and the similarity in the colors of the woman's dress and the tones on the right!

You were in the right place at the right time, Pablo! The guy in the middle is so unexpected! A very funny and interesting shot!

Well, here's an old friend! Hi, Sylvie! Remember me? (gaylen54 from TL)

This is cool - I'm liking the humor here.

Hope you're well. Good to see you here! I've only been here a (relatively) short time.

Critiquers Corner, huh? Ok, let's see. Yes, I would like to see more of the dog at the bottom, and less space at the top. At least enough to see the entire ear and collar. The leash bothers me a little, although I know leashes are good,as they help keep them safe!

Positives: Wonderful view of a noble head and expression of love and dedication! Good use of dof also.

I have two dogs - a standard poodle and a collie. I wish I had a short-haired breed like this one around this time of year. Toby (the collie) is shedding like crazy. I love him anyway. Thanks for the smiles!

A sunflower? Really?! Didn't know they had purple centers - just always assumed they were black! Nice details here.

I like your compo here very much, and I don't think it's "postcardy." I wish the people weren't there, but I know it's hard to capture a tourist attraction without tourists!

Hi, Wanda. I really like the way they're sharing a view of "something." Good perspective.

Mt. Peek-a-Boo! lol This is so pretty that it almost looks fake, Rocky! Well done, and worth all that effort if you come up with a result like this.

I like the idea, Gerry, but it's very centered for my taste. You could crop the top tighter, and the right part of the photo just past the platform. Or include the first buoy or two to the right of the platform. Then the buoys would lead us nicely to (ta da!)the swimmer. I do like the misty look and the rainbow effect. Very peaceful, summery scene.

Hi, Davide. Stunning colors against the black brick, and the simple composition reflects their casual poses. Am I crazy or does it seem to be a bit tilted to the left?

Well done!

A nice contrast in attitudes, Ed. The girl in the background looks perfectly poised and confident, while the girl in the foreground is looking uncertain. A recital, I presume? Lovely butterflies, and a wonderful, cultured mood.
