Nice scenery. I think the waterfall could have been positioned off-centre, more to the right; that would allow you to also show the water to the left of the rocks in the foreground. But more importantly, the shot is hurt by being too overexposed.

try a crop just below the big branch - it really becomes a splendid mosaic of color - and simplifies it

Really nice, Jeff! I think I would take some of the brown leaves off the top though to make the yellow stand out more.

The house looks cooked. The tree could use some contrast. The edges of the image show some crop lines or something. And the film sounds like a poisonous fish delicacy. ;-)
Now that that's out of the way, I think this picture has some potential. Most of the problems are related to the scan, I believe. If you can, try adjusting the levels, boost the saturation a tad, and rotate it so the bricks of the house are plumb to the edge of the image. As it is, those issues are distracting me from the rest of the image.

This is really a pitty, the colours look really nice but they arent captured because of the probably dull light that day. You got unlucky with the weather here. Besides that I would also suggest you get a different angle, or something to place in the foreground to give the image more depth.
Regards, Julien

I can definetly read, Jeff, and any comment is a good comment. If no one says anything bad then how can you improve. Personally, good comments are useless to me because they don't tell me anything I didn't already know. And by the way, there are lots of people on usefilm tearing other people's stuff apart. Max

hey Jeff, nice reflections captured, watch the shoreline tilt - can be straightened in ps easily enough (I should know, I've had to straighten numerous images on here thanks to others' noticing). I like that you included the rocks for foreground.

nice balance jeff. the strong rocks and statuesque nature of the pine trees with the release of energy by the waves is as much a part of the balance as the visual field. nice.

What a wonderful reflection! I really like this image, except for the framing of the horizon. It seems to cut the image in half. If you cropped the sky so it was just above the mountains I think it would make this even more beautiful.

nice idea but I think a bit too much framing here, recompose without the left tree, and the rocks and the fallen tree together is too much in the foreground. I would try some evening shots at this location to get better lighting too.

A very interesting reflection! I would have had no idea that this was off the hood of your car! It looks like it spans forever! My only suggestion is straightening out the horizon... everything feels as if it's sliding off the page!
