An interesting study in colour and texture. The curve of the old stem, snaking its way through the frame is nice.

Yeah, the gas in the tubes becomes apparent in these time dependent shots. They become textural. Here are a couple of reds:

I'll post one of the blues maybe as early as tomorrow.

James, these lights are blue LED. Blue LED is commonly used to decorate public place here in these days, and it has so narrow range of hue in its light that is good to have blue. Gas tube will be so interesting.

Nice bit of chaos here. And yet a series of patterns emerges. Blue is particularly hard to capture (it's a low energy wavelength). I'll have some blue from long gas tubes coming soon.

Thanks. I do a lot of this kind of photography (I call it luxagraphy) where I use the light more as a painter might. This shot is fascinating because of the four distinct segments. Very tricky to create. Well done.

Very nice composition, beautiful rectangle shapes framed and I think that the black and white tones were a wise choice. The title suits perfectly with the image taken: simple and very suggestive. I wish you good luck with your work and all the best. Best regards and wishes, Dragos Lucinschi

thanks for your comment,Vlad. I understand what you say, but on this shot I intendly did so. I liked to emphasis woods itself rather than to form a balanced composition.
