Hi Mark, Thank you so much for your contstructive comments. Very interesting for all us to get diverse critiques - this is a great idea from usefilm.
I recently bought photoshop CS2 and I might need to tone down my prehaps over zealous first attempts. I am hearing from lots of good comments than somtimes subtle is best.
I am working today but look forward to visiting your site soon

Wonderful image Danny, Minor comment I would have is that compositionally I find it is a bit biased towards the lower RH side.

Thanks very much for your comments Jeanette and I appreciate eveything you say. Will take your ideas or board for future. Wanted to get a surreal feel to this one rather than just another straight shot. So thats why I altered the colours and focus a bit. I sometimes find including too much or too little to be an issue hard to decide upon...less is more quite often though I guess. Love your work and thanks again. CU Glenn

Hi John, I would be proud to have taken this shoot. Improvements for me are in the middle ground and I think there is to much of it. For me the central strip of water divides the interesting bits without adding anything to the photo. Less off the middle ground might have be better....CU Glenn

Hi Roger, I find this image hard to rest my eye on a center of interest....the 3 rocks and 2 water swirls to me are all competing for attention. Think a slower shutter speed and a tighter crop would have been better. The sky bit at the top I also find distracting. Thats only my opinion though. CU Glenn

Hi Rina, I can't be sure where the mountains are but I suspect they are the Glasshouse Mountains north of Brisbane & inland from the Sunshine Coast near Cabolture CU Glenn
