Thank you all for your comments.

Al,

I agree with you. Unfortunatly I was at home that night and my options where I could place the tripod were limited. I took that shot from my backyard.

Jonathan, I don't think that this is an image that's meant to provoke any emotion. Perhaps, that is the reason this image doesn't do much for you. However, looking at the subject and the photo itself, this is a product shot. Usefilm isn't only about pretty landscapes... :-)

Phillip, you have lit this very well. You can always tell that a pro - and a good one for that matter - has shot this.

Well done!

Sarah,

I can see why this is your favorite view. This one could became a postcard.

Outstanding! It brings up the old glory of ancient Athens. I like how you captured the hill of Likavitos just at the back of the Acropolis.

Hi Barry,

Handheld and 8 sec"? There is no trick to it. Simply, due to the electrical storm there was a blackout in the area so there was no street or any other source of light anywhere close to me. Pitch black. So, I pointed the camera towards the right direction, set time to 8" and I got lucky.

First, I would like to thank you all for your comments. Since I am new to photography I read them very carefully. Taking into consideration what you said I used PS to sharpen the image. You were absolutely right. I have attached the new image.
