76 Monumental

Statues and monuments can be found everywhere! From little ones in your backyard to very large ones in the town square. Some are simple, some are very ornate. This project is to show your favorite monuments and statues in the most artistic way. Just don't take a snapshot or postcard view, that would be too easy. Use your imagination, play with lighting if you can, go for that awesome shot that will show the object in its best light! (pun intended). Have fun with this one and lets is see some truly monumental images.

This project was requested by Jill Bartlett, have fun.

75 Super Selfie

Admit it! Everyone shoots a selfie at least one time in their lives! Lets see some of those artistic selfie shots, fish lips and all! This is a project where you can have a little fun, be creative and let the folks out there know what you look like. Have fun and get those selfie sticks out!!!!

74 Song Title

This project was suggested by Jill B. and sounds like a fun one. Photos should depict the titles of your favorite music. This can be a tricky project and you will really need to use your imagination and creativity. We are not talking about photographing the actual words, but what the photo means to you and how it relates to the song. Make sure that you post the title of the song that your image depicts. Good luck and have some fun with this one!

73 Photojournalism

A Sign of the Times - Photos are perfect vehicles to depict a sign of the times for global topics, national, hometown, when traveling and so on. Examples; If you believe it is Global Warming and your photo depicts that...post it with a photo and describe it. If you think it is poverty or other hardships-human trial and tribulation, and your photo depicts that in your country...post it. If a photo tells a thousand words, maybe just a few short sentences will suffice along with a strong photo to tell your story, for this project.

72 Relocation - Vacation

Many people around the globe have thought about relocating to another city, state/province or even country. However, even the thought of doing so can be daunting. Wouldn’t the task be easier if you knew that you could actually turn your travels first into a FUN vacation to an area of the world that would also be a great place to live? That is what this project aims to do. Show people through photos and words how and why a certain city or town somewhere on this planet makes for a great vacation and possible relocation. This is the place to go where you will not be wasting your time as it is a great Relocation-Vacation!

71 My Hometown

Everybody has a Hometown. It is the place where you live. Show us your hometown, show us what makes it special, show us the greatness, the not so greatness, the good, the grit, the stuff that makes your hometown unique! Why would we want to come visit, or not. Got the idea?

Important: Don't forget to update your city, state/province and country so we know where the hometown you are photographing is located! Have a great time with this project and we look forward to seeing all of your Home Towns!

70 Renewal

Can you think of a project that fits this time better than "Renewal"? Up from the ashes of Usefilm.com comes imageopolis.com What can you think of that shows renewal, literal, figurative, use your imagination. Welcome back as the first project on imageopolis I hope you enjoy this one as we undergo a renewal!

69 Smoke

Smoke, it whips, it flits, it hangs thick and than it disappears. It both reflects and absorbs light and colors. It curves and trails away in a wisp, creating a pattern as unique as a snowflake. And then it is gone. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to capture the motion, the color and the often hypnotic effects of smoke.

Special thanks to Bob J. for this project.

68 Curvy, Curvey, Curvaceous.

Curvy, what else can you say? Curvy lines, curvy people, curvy things in nature, all things curvy. Nothing straight about this project. Have some fun and use your imagination. Think outside the box or should I say circle.

67 Emotion

Post images that show and or imply emotion through actions or stature. Sometime emotions can be conveyed through inanimate objects as well as living beings. No happy kittens in a basket please! :) This is a good topic for some very moody black and white images. Have fun.
