About: I've been learning about photography for a few months now. I purchased my Canon 20D in March, 2005. I've been learning about exposure, composition, depth of field, etc. I'm also learning how to use Photoshop CS to improve the photos when necessary.

I've been reading lots of books and getting out and taking as many photos as I can. I may consider taking a course in photography at a local college.

What I would really like is for people to critique my photos rather than compliment them. I'm here to learn, so rather than telling me something looks good, I'd much rather you tell me what I did wrong, or what works or doesn't work. What I can do the next time to improve my photographs. I know most people on Usefilm don't criticize other peoples' photos, they would much rather not comment. I use criticism as a tool to help me learn and improve my photography skills.
